Bring in the Residents

111It is no secret that people have many different reasons to move to Las Vegas from all over. But this year, there has been a noticeable jump in California residents making the change. What could be the reason behind this? It probably won’t come as a surprise, but money has a huge role in the move.  California is known for being an expensive place to live. Even though this has been true for awhile now, home values increased by 4.9% this past year alone! And there is no talk about the rise stopping next year.  With household incomes not rising as well, it makes it hard for the community to keep up.  What does this mean for Las Vegas? Could a population increase be a positive or negative thing for the valley? Agents may love to see the additional clientele, but as a whole, we will have to decide.  Not to worry as some come to buy for an investment property and only vacation here.
